Unfortunately Raiku seems to be blacklisted from the anime industry after he sued Shogakukan and won. I really want to see a remake of it like HxH but I think it will very hard since the anime dosen't get much attention which it deserves. It's been many years since I finished it but there is no trace of any news. Even inuyasha got a sequel but then it was popular too. I wish it gets another season or better a remake I can gladly watch it again as it was mt favorite childhood anime and I am very attached to it as a shounene lover.

First we got Fullmetal Alchemist remade, then HxH, now a new adaptation of Shaman King will air next year following the manga.
